Navigate Management Consulting announces that Joel Harris has joined the firm.
Joel brings more than 25 years of experience in executive and leadership positions in systems integration businesses where he has a proven track record of successfully leading, designing, implementing, and executing organizational transformation as well as efficiency-driven improvements.
Joel continues to serve as fractional COO for HB Communications, having joined HB in January 2019. Prior to HB, Joel served as CEO of Telerent Leasing Corporation (the holding company for TeleHealth Service, Avidex and Digital Networks Group). While an executive of Telerent, Joel negotiated the acquisition of Avidex, and then served as CEO of Avidex. Joel grew Avidex organically and successfully created the 7th largest systems integrator in the U.S., and the largest in California with the acquisition of Digital Networks Group.
Joel is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the Ohio State University, an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and completed Executive Education in New Product Development at MIT Sloan School of Management. He has also worked in engineering and strategic consulting positions with Marathon Oil, Ernst & Young, LLP, and Pfizer, Inc.

Joel Harris joins Navigate as Principal Consultant, and will lead consulting engagements on developing and executing strategy, annual business planning, and financial management. Joel will join in on Navigate assessments, process improvement and software implementations, and training assignments.
